Spanish photographer Jose Laiño usually works in the category of creative and conceptual still life. He studied architecture and while working in this field for several architectural firms has discovered his passion for photography when he took photos of ideas work and using analog cameras with macro lens to photograph architectural and conceptual models. Since 2009 he has been excited by digital photography, as well as for digital editing and digital manipulation, especially in still life category. He is self-taught and is using photography as a means to express ideas in a creative way.

Photographers relates different realities through the form and composition, proposing a perceptual play to obtain a powerful images through everyday objects and food, subjecting them to natural and artificial changes that produce a striking effect.

In my photographic works there is a balance between opposites, concepts, such as the everyday and the unusual, the naive and the wicked, the enduring and the ephemeral, the cultural and the natural, such as the Edible Inedible series in which I present a play between seduction and repulsion, the humorous and disturbing. These combinations are intended to create tension and stimulate the observer's perception through clean images built with simplicity, seemingly simple and simultaneously full of conceptual complexity leading us to reflection.
