Stefania Verganti is a portrait and conceptual photographer based in Varese, Italy.

What is love? What is passion? What are love's limits and why does it have so much suffering? These are the questions that prompted me to make this melancholic series, "L'amour Fait Passer le Temps...". The sense of inner emptiness pushes us to desire what we do not have, but, once the projection of the unconscious has fallen, everything vanishes... What is true love then? Are we capable of truly loving?
